Teleportation - Will it be a reality in near future

Just as I was reading about the Hotel and travel industry a random thought popped up in my mind, “what if teleportation becomes a reality” .Fans of the old TV series will be aware of people and things being teleported from the Enterprise to various locations and vice versa instantly. If this becomes a reality then it would be the death knell of the Hotel and Travel industry. Many things written by science fiction authors such as HG Wells, Jules Verne, Mary Shelly and few others during the 19^th & 20^th century have become a reality for scientists have been inspired by reading these authors to replicate the same in the current era and few examples of such discoveries are Organ transplant, Television, Mobile phones, Rockets,  Moon Landing. Teleportation is an ability to travel vast distances within a blink of an eye has captured the vivid imagination of humans for ages and is being seriously studied and pursued by scientists. Making this an reality will be a great feat indeed and can be achieved through means that are beyond our current understanding of science.

Though the process of teleportation has not been discovered till date there have been recorded bizarre instances of people be teleported in history of which most of us would not know, but if you Google search teleportation quite a lot of cases of teleportation over a period of time are listed . I am reproducing two of the accounts of human teleportation from Beyond Science portal that has fuelled the imagination of humans that the means to teleport is a reality in the distant future. 

1.      The story of Gil Perez dates back to the 16th century when he was serving as a Spanish soldier and palace guard of the Governor’s Palace in Manila. He was just a regular soldier until the morning of October 24, 1593, when something strange happened. Tired due to lack of sleep and the warm weather, Perez decided to take a short nap and leaned against the palace wall. When he opened his eyes, he was stunned to find himself in an unknown location. When it was explained to him that he was in Mexico City, he refused to believe that it was true, knowing it was impossible for him to be in Mexico City on the evening of October 24th when he had received his orders in Manila on the morning of October 23rd. Perez was questioned extensively by the Holy Tribunal of the Inquisition, and he told authorities that he had travelled from Manila to Mexico “in less time than it takes a cock to crow.” He revealed that he knew he was no longer in Manila and that the night before, he also knew for a fact that governor-general of the Philippines had been assassinated. However, the members of the Spanish Inquisition did not believe his story and had him imprisoned for desertion. For two months, Perez was locked up in a jail in Mexico City until a Manila merchant ship arrived from the Philippines. The crew shared the news about the Governor’s assassination, just as Perez had described it a couple of months earlier. Even stranger, one of the passengers on the ship recognized Perez and swore that he had seen the soldier in the Philippines marching at the palace garrison on October 23rd. And so, the Holy Tribunal of the Inquisition in Mexico had no other choice but to accept Perez’s story, release him from jail, and send him back to the Philippines.

2.    A well-known and controversial case of human teleportation supposedly took place in 1968, when a Dr. Geraldo Vidal and his wife, Raffo de Vidal, allegedly teleported a large distance along with their entire car. In May 1968, the couple was reportedly driving their vehicle along a remote, rural road in Chascomus, a province of Buenos Aires in Argentina, when they were suddenly enveloped by a thick fog. The Vidals allegedly failed to make it to their destination on time, and family members and authorities went on to search for the couple in the road they had taken but no trace of them was found. 48 hours later, Geraldo Vidal called the family to inform them that he and his wife were safe but for some reason unknown to them, they were in Mexico City, which was 6,400 km away from where they were driving in Argentina. Geraldo Vidal would later claim that they had no recollection of what occurred in the last 48 hours that they had disappeared without a trace. All they knew was that they encountered a strange, heavy fog before everything turned black. When they came to, they found themselves parked along an unfamiliar road and felt pain in their necks. When they alighted from the car, the vehicle looked like it had been burned, as if it was badly damaged by a blowtorch.

I was born during later part of 1950’s and I have seen so many changes in last 60 years that we humans never even imagined that it could happen like for instance Moon landing, Televisions, Mobile phones, Computers, electronic mail that put end to letter writing, Internet, Social media networks, Organ replacements, Laser and its applications, Tape recorders, CD players, Video tape players and lot more. Some of them have become irrelevant and have vanished during the current times as more and more newer ideas are being pursed and discovered. So I do believe one day, but m not during my life time Teleportation will be a reality.

Emotional and Verbal abuse of women

Just last month I had written about Toxic relationship, that my daughter is in and now that relationship it has taken a turn for the worse. So I tried to read up everything about woman abuse I can find on the internet and was shocked to know that one in three women have been a victim of abuse in India. I have penned few pointers that i read on various articles with the hope it might help some abused woman who chances to read this post.

Domestic violence against women in India is a worrying factor and nearly 33% of the women population have been abused physically or emotionally. The percentage may be even higher as many of the cases do not get reported for the fear of being shunned from the society and peers and women keep continuing in this abusive relationship. The term domestic violence is coined for abuse generally by husband or relatives but then women get abused by unrelated persons at place of study/work and this abuse may not be physical instead but verbal and emotional abuse. I have been regularly hearing my maid of her physical and mental abuse by her husband and also have seen the life my sister has gone through while her husband was alive... it is quite scaring  

Women may think that they are not being abused if not being physically beaten but its untrue for abuse can be verbal as well as emotional .This often leads to physical abuse later in life. Emotional and verbal abuse have long-time consequences such as depressions and is just as serious as physical abuse.



 A person can know if they are being abused if you have experienced the following

• ·         Extreme jealousy and accusing you of cheating
• ·         Isolating behaviour –Prevents you from seeing your friends or family
• ·         Controlling behaviour – What you wear, whom you see and what you do  
•          Tries to prevent you from going to work or college or friends place.
• ·         Calling or texting continuously when you are not there around
• ·         Gets angry in a way it is frightening to you
• ·         Threatens to hurt you or your loved ones
• ·         Threatens to harm themselves when upset with you.
• ·         Control your finances and how you spend them
• ·         Calls you insulting names and humiliates you in front of others
• ·         Says “If i can’t have you then no one can”

Emotional and verbal abuse may begin suddenly. Some abusers may start out behaving normally and then begin abuse after a relationship is established. Some abusers may purposefully give a lot of love and attention, including compliments and requests to see you often, in the beginning of a relationship. Often, the abuser tries to make the other person feel strongly bonded to them, as though it is just the two of them “against the world.”

Women often overlook the above signs thinking that they would be able to change the person once they are married but sadly they fail miserably since you can only change someone only if they want to change. Trying to change or rescue is a lost battle .So it is better to change oneself and leave such relationship however hard it is to have a better life in future and to avoid lifelong pains. 

If you are in an abusive relationship, you may think that there is no way out and staying in that relationship can be far worse than that of leaving the relationship. Remaining in a toxic and abusive relationship can put your life and that of your loved ones at a risk as the abuser would take out their anger on you or the loved ones. This could become violent in addition to plethora of emotional consequences leading to depressions and suicidal tendencies.

• ·         People treat you how you allow yourself to be treated.
• ·         Never live in a false hope of things will get better later.
• ·         Don’t look for people to save you from your abuser
• ·         No one can help you if you are not willing to help yourself
• ·         Only you can take necessary actions on your own behalf  

An abusive partner regularly reinforces the idea that you cannot escape the relationship and you would not a life without them in it. They do that to ensure that you believe their statement and this way maintain a control over you. Abusers are expert manipulators with a knack for getting you to believe that the way you are being treated is your fault. They know that everyone has insecurities, and they use those insecurities against you to the full extent.

Abusive relationships often have these intense moments of feeling good and sincere apologies or attempts to make up for the bad behaviour. This in turn makes you to clings to hope that all will be well when these moments occur and the abuser knows this and is playing with your emotions.

The only way you can escape from these relationship is to getaway totally from the partner and sever all ties to the person and I am sure that you that in a period of time you will get over this person. You will be making the right decision to have a better life for yourself and your loved ones … no looking back so move out of the toxic relationship now..

Masquerading each day of life

Most people at some point of time of their lives masquerade to cover up their true feelings and thoughts from people living around them. The reasons for putting up such a facade varies person to person and cannot be generalized except that he or she is not willing to share the feeling with anyone around.

My Life is just a charade and I move around putting on a mask of happiness on my face in front of my relatives and friends even though I am going through a toughest time of my life at this point of time. I do know keeping the feelings pent up would at some point would be detrimental to my health so at times when I alone I do cry hoping that my tears will wash away the feeling of hopelessness.Well life is such.

Very few persons are truly gifted to lead their life without any masquerade and yes those are the ones blessed.

Storm Area 51 They Can't Stop Us All

An Event is to take place on 20^th September 2019 as posted on Face book called “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us” has gone viral on the internet  and over 1.9 million people has RSVP’d that they are going and over a million more are interested in going to the event. In a pinned post on the event page a user named has Barnes has drawn a plan as to how attendees could swarm the place and beneath the scheme he has written the following “Hello US government, this is a joke, and I do not actually intend to go ahead with this plan. I just thought it would be funny and get me some thumbsy uppies on the internet,” it reads. “I’m not responsible if people decide to actually storm area 51.”

Well the US Air Force managing the Area 51 is not thrilled by this joke and has warned the public that any illegal attempts to intrude the military installation at Area 51 is very dangerous as use of deadly force is authorised and such warning signs as well as No Trespassing signs are all over the area. Also they would prosecute all persons arrested for illegal entry to the full extent of the law and could be jailed for 5 years.

Intense focus on Area 51 is because the US Government has been very secretive of the base and the happening there are highly classified in addition to the place being heavily guarded 24 hours of the day. Lack of information about the base and secretive nature of the government has let to great deal of speculations and has fuelled numerous conspiracy theories over period of time and this might be the one of the reasons for the Storm Area 51 event page to go viral.

The main fodder for conspiracy theory that has been prevailing for decades comes from supposedly in numerous UFO (Unidentified Flying Objects) sighted in this area as well of a supposedly crashed UFO in Roswell from which spaceship and aliens were recovered and bought to this base. US Government has never answered to any of the queries raised by conspiracy theorist as it could not admit / reveal the nature of activities within the base. CIA in fact acknowledged the presences of the base only as recent as 2013 and the base is being used to as an Air Force base. Area 51 is also known as  Groom lake or Dreamland or Paradise ranch or just The Ranch.

Various conspiracy theories over a period of time are as follows:-

1. The storage, examination, and reverse engineering of crashed alien spacecraft, including material supposedly recovered at Roswell, the study of their occupants, and the manufacture of aircraft based on alien technology

2. Meetings or joint undertakings with extraterrestrials

3.    The development of exotic energy weapons for the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI) or other weapons programs

4.    The development of weather control

5.    The development of time travel and teleportation technology

6.    The development of exotic propulsion systems related to the Aurora Program

7.    Activities related to a shadowy one world government or the Majestic 12 organization.  (Majestic 12 or MJ-12 is a code name for alleged secret committee of scientists, Military leaders and government officials, , formed in 1947 by an executive order by U.S. President Harry S. Truman to facilitate recovery and investigation of alien spacecraft)

Area 51 is not open to general public but then there are few tourist attractions nearby that capitalize of the notoriety of the Area 51 made famous by the conspiracy theorists.One such place is the Extraterrestrial Highway that runs nearby and has several alien themed attractions
